I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining The sun is shining, when the sun is shining I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining When the sun is shining no more I spent all my days working on a chain Driving through the rain, driving through the rain I spent all my days working on a chain But I ain't gonna work no more I spent all my days paying for my crime And for that I did my time, and for that I did my time I spent all my days paying for my crime But I ain't gonna pay no more I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining The sun is shining, when the sun is shining I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining When the sun is shining no more I spent all my nights looking at the stars Out through jailhouse bars, out through jailhouse bars I spent all my days looking at the stars But I ain't gonna look no more I spent all my nights praying on my knees Asking Jesus please won't you set my soul at ease? I spent all my nights praying on my knees But I ain't gonna pray no more Well one thing is for certain To that Judge I never lied When he asked me "Son, what have you done And by you whom has died?" I never asked him for forgiveness And they never saw my tears But I would have cried if I had know I'd last for all these years I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining The sun is shining, when the sun is shining I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining When the sun is shining no more I spent all my life living on the rich mans dime Just waiting for them bells to chime, just waiting for them bells to chime I spent all my life living on the rich mans dime But now I ain't gotta live it no more I spent all my life cause that's all I had to spend But now it's finally at end, now it's finally at an end I spent all my life cause that's all I had to spend Now I ain't got no life to spend no more Well one thing is for certain Up to heaven I won't go And ain't no devil down in hell Could drag me far below I think I'll stay right where I am This cell my soul can keep And every night I'll sing my song While them boys all try to sleep I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining The sun is shining, when the sun is shining I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining When the sun is shining no more I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining The sun is shining, when the sun is shining I ain't gonna work when the sun is shining When the sun is shining no more

Them Blues 04:06
Since I met you baby You've been trouble day and night I gotta find a new lady One who knows how to treat me right I ain't about to be lonely And you are'nt about to be kind Thats why Im leaving this morning Before the sun has a chance to shine Soon I know youll be sorry But that ain't enough to make me stay You Know Them Blues will come calling And you'll be crying in your hands someday You know how long I've been waiting So this should come as no surprise That my last nerves will be grating If you should try to bring the tears to your eyes I ain't much for forgiveness And I sure ain't about to forget how you Smile when you say that you're sorry As you light another cigarette Soon I know you'll be angry But that ain't enough to make me care You know Them Blues will come knocking And you'll be crying in your hands right there Every time you go down to the market store You'll hear the people start to say Well that's the evil girl what drove that loving man away. Every Sunday down inside the house of the Lord You'll see the people start to stare And you'll know down in your soul that when you die You won't be going up there Every time you try to go to sleep at night You'll hear the thunder start to roll And you'll know the sky is telling you to pray For what you did to my soul And every time you get down on your knees To put your hands up to your face When those prayers fill the room You'll know they'll never be enough to erase All the things that you said While you lay in my bed All the times that you told me You wished I was dead All the words that I bled On the page that you read When you knew you were holding My heart by a thread And that feeling of dread That I keep in my head

Sailor Song 09:00

Well my eyes went wide one morning When I heard an awful sound I looked out my window and what did I see Seven crows were trying to bring an eagle down Well I hopped out of bed as quick as I could And I grabbed my 44 I put shoes on my feet and a hat on my head As I made my way to the door, saying Fly, fly, fly You know that if you don't you're surely gonna die I said fly, fly, fly Fly, fly, fly Well my eyes went up into the sky When I heard that eagle sing And they fell back to the ground with a feather coming down You know them seven crows were trying to clip that eagles wings Well I pointed that gun above my head And I killed about two or three But I didn't want to shoot that eagle down So I had to go and leave her in her misery, saying Fly, fly, fly You know that if you don't you're surely gonna die I said fly, fly, fly Fly, fly, fly You know I just couldn't understand Why she was circling in the breeze She could've up and flown away Or hidden down in the trees But gliding in the distance Smaller by about a wing I saw that eagles baby And I heard its mamma sing, and she was saying Fly, fly, fly You know that if you dont youre surely gonna die I said fly, fly, fly Fly, fly, fly I said Fly Well it didnt take too much longer Before that that bird was looking mighty lean And when it fell to the sky well I knew the reason why Them seven crows had gone and picked that eagle clean Well when the stopped their happy cawing And started flying towards that old oak tree I knew that they had seen that eagles child And they were making out to reunite the family, I said So I walked back into the house And wiped a tear away from my eye I opened open my window And held that rifle to the sky As those tears continued to fall I put that baby in my aim And when I heard the shot I knew Those crows would do the same, so I said Fly, fly, fly You know that if you don't you're surely gonna die I said fly, fly, fly Fly, fly, fly
